LuvMyUndies.com is now operational!

Well, we haven't quite gotten it to where we want it to be, but LuvMyUndies.com is now an operational website!      It's been a long time in the works...

 

It's quite funny how this all got started.  I had been in the eBay business for several years when I had the bright idea to start selling for others - as a Trading Assistant.  It didn't take long before I realized that the best clients were either individuals with Private Collections - or businesses.

 

So along comes this very high end lingerie retailer that was an appointment-only store, sold to celebrities and actors  in shows and that's it.  The thing is that every time a show closed (and they were supplying the lingerie) they would have overstock.  Or if  style was discontinued, they couldn't offer it to any shows because they couldn't keep supplying them.

 

So they called me to sell their bras.  The first time I met with them they gave me two big bags of bras.  I knew nothing about it, put them on eBay in two groups. I just made a pile on the table and took a picture and that was it.    Each lot sold for $250 which was ok....until I realized that these very VERY high end bras (Chantelle, Prima Donna, Wacoal, Lise Charmel, etc. etc.) with a retail value of 10 times that!   

 

I went back to the consignors and told them I couldn't do it.  I didn't know what I was doing.  They convinced me to keep trying and..long story, short.....I unded up selling $100,000 worth of lingerie a year!

After several years, I decided to get into the business for real.  My eBay experience taught me which brands were hot, what people wanted, etc.  

But I wanted to launch a site that sold interesting, sought after, high quality products for men and women.    I want to sell current new products so I can keep my customers happy.  And I wanted a range - men's, womens, large sizes, small sizes, bridal, foundation, fashion, basics, seduction wear, maternity, nursing, mastectomy wear - a one stop shop.

 

So LuvMyUndies.com was born.  It's  a site for people that really do love their undies - or even just like them, but know quality and  appreciate good customer service.

 

So check us out!  If you like us, recommend us to your friends.  If you have any suggestions, special requests, etc. - let us know!   We love hearing from you. (and just know the site will get better and better every day!)

 

Under & Out a Huge Success

The Under & Out Event on Saturday October 9 proved to be a huge success!    Over 250 people attended.  We raised $2000 for Desert AIDS Project and sold LOTS of underwear.  Equally important, everyone had a great time, loved the models and the underwear.  This is the first of many to come!

Thanks especially to LIVE Magazine & Ken Vincent's Business Out Voice (our two media sponsors).  Also, the Blue Pear Texx Mexx, The Pool House, Desert AIDS Project, Revive Wellness Center, Bear Wear, Cafe Palette, Chelsea Marketeers.  And the people that really made this all possible, Wesley Eure, Clark Bason, Sal Mistretta, Eddie Gustaffson, JP Allen, Juli Ragsdale, Levvy Carriker, Bob Randall and of course, our friends from Kingston Lounge (Kathy & Ron). On Saturday, October 9, 2010 The Blue Pear Texx Mexx & LuvMyUndies.com will present a special fashion show and pool party, “Under & Out.”  The event will feature live male models wearing the new Frank Dandy Superwear collection of men’s underwear.  The event will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Pool House Bar,   2249 North Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs, CA.

 

 

Admission is free, but voluntary donations will be collected to benefit Desert AIDS Project.   Additionally, a percentage of all sales will go to Desert AIDS Project.  Celebrity host Wesley Eure will emcee the event.   Drinks and food will be available for purchase at the Blue Pear Texx Mexx and Pool House bar.   Come for the cool drinks, the hot guys and this great charity!
